JeminiPS “Gets Mad” and Makes a Difference Globally

SIFA Threads

jeff and nancyJeminiPS is expanding its MAD footprint and “Getting MAD” in Asia, Mexico and Africa. JeminiPS has an unique Make a Difference (MAD) model that gives back 10% of revenue earned with each client engagement to MAD. Jeff Heslop, Partner and Practice Leader at JeminiPS, designated his 2013 JeminiPS MAD funds to benefit mission work in Asia, Mexico and Africa. Jeff recently traveled over 8,000 miles from his home town in Cincinnati, Ohio to Tanzania, a country in East Africa in the African Great Lakes region. Jeff along with his wife Nancy joined forces with local missionaries to Make a Difference in the lives of the residents in the city of Dar es Salaam.

The work of these missionaries is to serve both the physical and spiritual needs of the adults and children residing in the city. childrenThe United Nations estimates 70 percent of Dar es Salaam’s population lives in informal settlements, with the poorer residents crowding into downtown areas or large slums, many without running water or basic services. While in Africa, Jeff and Nancy worked with three families that have moved from Cincinnati, Ohio to Dar es Salaam.  These families have totally transformed their lives in Ohio to a life dedicated to “Making a Difference” in Tanzania. Local ministry services include feeding and schooling of orphans; providing woman sources of income; treating tropical diseases; drilling wells for clean water; and church plantings.

JeminiPS is especially proud to support the SIFA Threads organization in Tanzania. sifaThis organization provides local woman fulfilling jobs sewing various items by hand. The organization is dedicated to training young women to work with textiles and handcrafts. SIFA Threads uses local Tanzanian textiles and up-cycled fabrics for each one-of-a-kind product designed by local young women. These original designs are described as “afropologie” or african style with a western twist. JeminiPS invites you to “Get MAD” with SIFA Threads and help Makes a Difference in the lives of hundreds of Tanzania women and their families that would otherwise have no other source of money or income.

PEX Week 2014

pex-week-2014JeminiPS began 2014 at the Process Excellence Network (PEX) Week in Orlando, Florida where they received an exclusive invitation from the International Productivity and Quality Center (IPQC) to participate in the Corporate Leaders’ Boardroom. This prestigious opportunity is a senior forum for process leaders to review their most pressing business issues with peers and industry experts. The topic this year focused on the critical role of senior leaders in fostering a culture of process performance and business transformation.

The JeminiPS Performance Methodology provides the foundation for the C-suite to move beyond traditional boundaries to a deeper understanding of how process professionals can support an ever-changing economic, social, and political climate. Embedded in the JeminiPS strategy are processes to not only know the customers but to nurture and grow those relationships through tools such as Net Score Promoter ® (NPS). JeminiPS is Getting MAD and Making a Difference

Hanumanity Foundation

Co-founders, Melissa Hancock and James Hogan founded JeminiPS to, “Make a Difference” (MAD) in corporate performance And communities around the world. For the second time JeminiPS has selected San Diego based, Hanumanity Foundation to be the beneficiary of cash donations. Jim and Melissa were first inspired to support Swiss native Hubert Pilloud in his quest to serve Wounded Warriors & Injured Service Members after speaking with him about his foundation following a yoga class at the Pacific Athlete Club (PAC) in early 2013.

Hubert, an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) and former F/A18 fighter pilot and instructor founded the Hanumanity Foundation as his tribute and a way to thank to men and women injured in the line of duty. The goal of the Hanumanity Foundation is to help and facilitate the reintegration of Wounded Warriors & Injured Service Members back into the community. Yoga helps regain composure and self-confidence, overcome physical and emotional wounds, and offers calming effect to PTSD patients dealing with flashbacks, depression and anxiety.

Yoga for Wounded Warriors

In 2013, Melissa and James attended an outdoor yoga class held at Del Mar Trails park to raise funds for the Hanumanity Foundation. Following the class JeminiPS made a cash donation to help the foundation achieve its goal. Hubert stated, “The donation from Melissa and James was amazing and made the difference in starting our program. It has allowed us to buy props for the Wounded Warriors and injured Service Members they need for yoga practice due to their physical challenges. It also enabled us to create a fund to help our heroes join a local yoga studio. This fund is used to offer partial or full scholarships to the studio of their choices.”

In addition, last month JeminiPS partnered with San Diego based Amber Ley Events to provide additional cash donations to the Hanumanity Foundation. Amber Ley Events (ALE) provides a portion of proceeds from all items and services purchased to a local San Diego CAUSE. Melissa and James selected the Hanumanity Foundation to be the recipient of JeminiPS proceeds from ALE.

On Track to Achieve 2015 Vision

JeminiPS DeliversJust one year following the launch of JeminiPS revenue has grown over 600%.  While Melissa Hancock, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) along with Chief Strategy Office (CSO), James Hogan set and measure financial goals for JeminiPS, it is the team growth and MAD results that have them the most excited.

The JeminiPS team was expanded over 400% in 2013 to maintain pace with client demands.  JeminiPS offers clients decades of  combined experience spanning numerous industries that include the Department of Defense, Education, Technology, Health Care, Transportation and Energy.  Recent additions to the JeminiPS team were selected for their specific skill set across Quality Management, Lean Six Sigma, Organizational Change Management and Process Excellence.  According to James, JeminiPS is able to select the “best of the best” of qualified personal because top notch talent is eager to support and promote the Make A Difference (MAD) principle JeminiPS was founded upon.

Just one year after launching the MAD model, JeminiPS has been able to Make A Difference in the lives of over 6,000 individuals spanning 11 countries. JeminiPS accomplishes such significant impact by bringing together individuals within client organizations as a team to provide contributions of revenue and donations of goods and services to transform communities and Make A Difference around the world.  Charities and non-profit organizations such as Humanity Yoga for Wounded Warriors;  Hunt with Heart; His Hands Ministries Haiti; King Chavez Academy; and National Alzheimer’s Association, are a few  of the organizations that have been beneficiaries of JeminiPS’ MAD model in 2013.

In addition, in its first year of business, JeminiPS received International recognition. Renowned research firm Forrester referenced a customized transformation program designed by JeminiPS in a 2012 publication on Process Driven Transformation.  Furthermore, a JeminiPS client was recognized inside and outside of industry by the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) for successful launch of a JeminiPS designed Strategic Performance Initiative program. IQPC recognizes and celebrates organizations that demonstrate true best practices in Performance Excellence, which JeminiPS specializes.

While a healthy bottom line, team growth, and program recognition are all key indicators JeminiPS is on track to achieve financial targets; the MAD performance is what is most exciting for JeminiPS Co-Founders Melissa and James. “When James and I launched JeminiPS we set a Big Hairy Goal (BHG) to positively impact 20,000 individuals around the world by the end of 2015. AXON and JeminiPS “Get MAD” to Make a Difference

Hunt with Heart

AXON is joining forces with consulting firm JeminiPS and “Getting MAD”. JeminiPS has a unique Make a Difference (MAD) model that gives back 10% of revenue earned with each client engagement to MAD. AXON CFO, Jeff Merecka, spoke with JeminiPS co-founders, Melissa Hancock and James Hogan, earlier this year about a non-profit organization, Hunt with Heart, that has made a difference in his family’s life and was previously selected by AXON as a beneficiary of AXON’s community outreach program.  Discussions with Melissa and James allowed them to see Jeff’s passion for continued support to Hunt with Heart.  Jeff stated, “AXON strives to continually give back to the community by supporting organizations like Hunt with Heart. After hearing stories from previous participants about how these hunts impacted their lives, we knew this was an organization we definitely wanted to support.”  AXON’s core values incorporate supporting the communities of those with whom they work. Hunt for Heart is one of those extraordinary opportunities for AXON and JeminiPS to work together to get MAD.

Hunt with Heart, is a Texas based non-profit organization that brings hope and fun into the lives of children with life-altering or terminal illnesses. The mission of Hunt with Heart is to provide a once in a lifetime experience for these children and their families by introducing children to the incredible outdoors. Through hunting, fishing, archery, target shooting, and other outdoor activities, the children are provided the opportunity to see God’s handiwork in a natural, peaceful setting.

Hunt with Heart selects children a few times each year to participate in a special outdoor experience with their families. By partnering with the owners of hunting lodges such as Beaver Creek in Milano, Texas, Hunt with Heart is able to provide relief from the stressful and demanding environment of illness and treatment and give families a unique opportunity to make new memories and create new relationships.

Hunt w Heart JeffTo ensure each selected child can participate in such events, JeminiPS Co-founders Melissa and James donated a 2014 Polaris Ranger 570 Crew ATV to Hunt with Heart.  JeminiPS purchased the ATV from Houston Motorsports and in the spirit of MAD, Houston Motorsports made it possible for JemimiPS to also purchase the camouflage paint through a substantial discount. In addition, along with the previous cash donations benefitting Hunt with Heart, AXON purchased a roof for the ATV to ensure year around utilization by the children and their families.

President of Hunt with Heart, Toby Kroger, invited Melissa, James, and Jeff to attend a recent event held at Beaver Creek October 4th and 5th to personally present the Polaris ATV. Jo Anne Elzner, owner of Beave1377038_589052091156171_1419773839_nr Creek, stated It is with utmost gratitude that the Hunt with Heart Camp for children with complex congenital heart conditions has found Melissa & James from JeminiPS!  Their generous donation of a brand new Polaris Ranger for our campers was the hit of the weekend!  We were in dire need of another fun & safe vehicle for the patients to ride around our 4,000 acre ranch spotting exotic animals and stalking their first hunt.  The kids drove up and down the hillsides, jumped in and out of the seats and even got stuck in the sand a few times!  What fun for these children who have spent the majority of their short lives hooked up to machines and IV poles in a hospital bed.  We can’t thank Melissa & James (and JeminiPS) enough for their support!  They are truly incredible souls!”

Melissa and James hope to inspire others to lead change and make a difference. Every engagement with JeminiPS encompasses the MAD model and offers clients the opportunity to collaborate and match JeminiPS’s charitable giving in order to make a difference in their community.
